Good deal - only asked as the management of meat production vs. egg/companionship has some differences. Definitely check out the links posted above. Have you got any ideas as to what kind(s) of chickens you will keep?

We are thinking about easter eggers and I happened to find this site while we were looking up where we can get some near us and being this is our first time with chickens that maybe we could get some help with it and some tips and ideas for being successful in caring for them

Thanks we don't have them yet but we hope to have some soon and btw what is the recommended size of enclosure would be great for around 10 chickens
