When I introduced myself to the forum I wasn't planning on getting chickens until I owned my home. Well, I started to REALLY get anxious and impatient about it. The other day, I asked my landlord, sort of fearing that he'd laugh and say "NO WAY!" but to my pleasant surprise he said "Yes! Enjoy your chickens!"
His only concern was that I continue to keep up with my yard and keep the coop looking nice, etc. I am giddy like a school girl with a crush! I could not possibly be more excited right now! I told him I'd only get around five chickens, and there are currently three ADORABLE chicks that I'm very interested in, and keeping my phalanges crossed for! My coop is going up tomorrow. I'm *HOPING* to finish it by Sunday night, and there are three of us working on it so it's definitely a good possibility! If I end up with chickens before that, well then I will have chickens temporarily residing in my house! I'm going to the feed store after work to get all of my supplies!!!!!
