Thanks yeah they are happy I think ! X
but one of the paler ones I was worried could be boys as no speckles on their chests and one i'm pretty sure just crowed I just checked on utube that that was def the noise I just hear and it was ! X I emailed the guy I got them from and he said he will swap him ! They are still sat in the run I might put their food in the house so they will go in as I don't want them to get cold sat in the run when there is plenty of bedding and room in the house !

Quail can survive sub zero temperatures provided they do not get wet and the wind isn't too strong. Maybe you should place them in the hut by hand and close the door behind them, just until they get used to doing it themselves. I'm sure they'll be fine, but it might give you peace of mind.

Thank you ! X I also have 2 guinea pig houses in the run with bedding in them but doesn't look like they are using them yet but they are sitting under the grasses though which is good ! X they have polished off nearly all the kale, oyster shell and food I gave them though ! X
