Sooo sad....:0( Lost my silkie mama and five babies....

Just went out to check on the babies and they were all gone.... Mama was dead. I am just so sad.

There was two poops in the coop. Almost black and smooth without a lot of stuff in it. Could that be a racoon?

I honestly thought it was secure.

It's a sad day on our little ranch. I had just posted about the mama hatching her five little eggs and now they are gone.

So sorry to hear of you loss. Was the poop real stinky? Raccon, Possum? I know when my dogs have rolled in very stinky, kind of black waxy poop I think it is a raccoon or possum.
