But I'll just start by saying I'm a proud hen mother to 6 beautiful brown hens about 7 months old. Get one egg daily from my girls. We just moved (me and my family plus chickens) to our very own new house! Yay. And don't be surprised if I'm the one asking many many rookie questions. They seemed very content at our other house but change does things to anyone.

Hi Sam and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. You are correct, chickens hate change, so a move to a new environment will certainly throw them a bit of a curve ball. Don't be too alarmed if egg production declines for a couple of weeks or so. You're very welcome to ask any questions that you may have - we are all here to help.
