3 cayugas from efowl are probably coming from metzer farms in california, both orders I got from efowl came from there and metzer is the only one I know of that will do smaller orders. If so, I have never had an issue with Metzer farms, I once got a duckling from them that didn't survive and they shipped me a replacement free with companion out of the next hatch.

That's cool...at least you got a replacement and a freebie! My DH would be sooo mad if that happened though. He only wanted a max of four and all 3 mallards we got (I think) are males.So...I ordered the 3 cayuga females for them.So now we're at 6 when those arrive. I also am going to have more chickens than he origionally thought because I HAD to try hatching (borrowed bator and free barnyard mix eggs).
9 of 13 hatched and are 2 days old now...lol...and 6 more come next week...plus my DD's 5th grade graduation present is a welsummer,a golden laced wyandotte,and 2 EE's.

I have yet to order those!

You guys are brave... I am too much of a wimp to order any that have to be shipped to me, just in case i got dead or hurt ones. I just placed an order on Monday for 2 Goslings but i did it through the feed store so they get them first then i have to pick them up. they should be in today so fingers crossed! 2 White Chinese girls

Okay well now I had a bad ordering experience too. I called the feed store today ( they didn't even bother calling me!) and asked about my babies and the girls actually told me "All the Goslings came in dead today"....
REALLY??? Why would you tell me that? i mean, i appreciate honesty but please, tell me there was some kind of miscommunication and they hadn't been shipped or something. don't tell me the babies i have been waiting for all week showed up dead along with 8 others.

Her telling me that was almost more upsetting than knowing they didn't survive shipping.
