My Sophie (a 2 yr old Peking female) laid eggs everyday for a year. Then late fall of last year she quit. I figured it was just winter or molting. Here it is spring and she has laid about a half dozen tiny soft shelled eggs but nothing else. She weighs about 8.5 pounds and seems ok. Not as much energy as she used to have a year ago but not critical. Am I missing something or is there something that I need to do. She is by herself but we try to keep company with her as often as possible. Any ideas?
