I just received three new baby chicks in the mail and one came in with a little open wound on her beak.. How do I treat this? Can I use neosporin?

I would use a little iodine (betadine) or a tiny bit of Neosporin. the problem with the ointment is that it will have feed and everything else sticking to it, and since it is at the nostril, it make be bad for breathing. Do you think it is from being pecked? Make sure these babies are drinking well, dip their beaks, and Some SaveAChick vitamins/electrolytes for a day or two would help.

Yes they are drinking and eating very well. Ive been giving them some kick starter food ti help give them a little boost.

Would hydrogen peroxide work as well? Or would that be too harsh?

Used once peroxide would be fine, but it can prevent healing if used repeatedly. It works great to debride wounds, to dissolve blood or scabs, for cleaning out a blocked nostril or for ear infections.
