Maybe it is the food you are feeding? Ask what percentage protien they are feeding...for some reason, my chickens always seem to be late bloomers too

I have not figured out what it is yet though. This time, I am trying a higher protien feed just to see what happens....I also have TONS of trees on my property. Last we counted, it was over 100 oaks, on 3/4 of an acre, so it stays pretty shady...I wonder if that contributes as well...

Are her counterparts being given suplemental lighting? What percentage protein are you feeding?

Do you give her suplemental greens?

Hmm, I just went out and checked the food. It doesn't say how much protein is in it, but it does say 'plant protein', in the ingrediants. She eats Purina Layena Layer Crumble. Would it be better for her to eat chick crumble, or...? I'm not sure which one has more protein. She does get alot of greens and treats, and recently, mealworms.
