Sorry to ask again but cockerel or pullet (8 week old maran and mauve ameraucana)

For the Marans, might need to wait a couple more weeks for either specific male feathering or them to stay the same

I'm with everyone else, Ameraucana looks like a pullet, and the Marans is still a bit questionable--but I have had a bunch of Marans chicks lately and I would "guess" pullet Definitely update in a couple more weeks!

Here's a pic of my Maran for reference, this was taken at age 6 weeks. Little Chipotle is now 8 weeks and he's a spicy boi who acted like a cockerel from the start! His comb looks way more pronounced now, definitely different from your chickie.

Here's a pic of my Maran for reference, this was taken at age 6 weeks. Little Chipotle is now 8 weeks and he's a spicy boi who acted like a cockerel from the start! His comb looks way more pronounced now, definitely different from your chickie.

She is very docile, she use to just sit on My lap and chill, but now a bit more skittish.her and the ameraucana are bonded.but I have seen them bump chest once or twice. The ameraucana was actually one that I was was worried about at 4 week it was nipping at me.

I am unfamiliar with Marans, but the Ameraucana looks identical to my now 5 month old when she was that age. Both of my cockerels had a much more pronounced comb by 8 weeks. I sat 99.9% sure she is a pullet.
