sort of delicate question.......

My hens used to squat for me but since I got them a roo they could careless about me.

I had to sit next to him on a plane ride to Strugis SD a couple years ago. Once everyone was seated and the plane took off. I ask to switch seats! He was so gross looking...... lol It's hard to believe everyone at the airport in Rapid City knew who he was. lol
 
My animals think i've lost my mind laughing so hard at these posts.I am new to the chicken world, as mine are 9 weeks old. I brought in 4 grown girls for eggs until my babies get big enough, and one of them squats like that some times. I didn't know what her problem was, but it was very funny to see her like that. I'm not sure what kind of chicken she is, but I think she is old. She is big and blue/grey. She hasn't laid an egg in the 3 weeks that I have had her. Do you think if I put an adult roo in with them that she may find it in herself to lay if she is squatting like that?
