Sort of New - Been lurking for about a year!

Thanks for all the welcomes! I'm learning so much and am really enjoying our chicks this time around because I'm not terrified of something happening. We just got our last two (promise!) chicks today. A White Leghorn x California White and a Silver Leghorn. They're just two days old, just a week younger than our 9-day-olds. I can't believe what a difference a week makes in size. Our oldest chicks are about 3.5 weeks old and seem HUGE!

I suggest you take some photos of them next to something static (their feeder, a plant pot, or even whatever they live in, as a brooder). Then, if you wanna really freak out, wait a year, and try to remember them as tiny as they are, next to (or in) the chosen object. I don't have pictures, but just saw what we used as a brooder, out in the yard--I doubt if I tried, we couldn't squeeze half of last year's chicks into it!
