This is the one quail that had issue coming out of the shell.
I peeled half of the shell and he pushed himself out but now he seems to be really struggling with getting up
It's been a couple of hours now and he hasn't fluffed up
What shall I do ?
He is chirping in there and tried to stand up

How is he doing? I think you may have forced him out too quickly. Sometimes it can take them 24+ hours to hatch even after the initial pip or zip.

He didn't make it. And it's very likely my fault. I think I actually should have helped earlier. He zipped almost all the way before he got stuck but was 24 hrs before I helped him. he came out super weak and sticky. I didn't know I should have washed him and keep him warm. I left him in there for as long as I can till the chicken started hatching. I was afraid that he would be stepped on by the chickens.
He died not long after I took him out of the incubator. This is my first time hatching anything. Definitely learnt something

In the future do not open a quail egg until it has been at least 24 hours since it pipped.

I didn't. I waited for more than 24 hrs but it was after it zipped almost all the way. I was expecting it to come out that night actually but it didn't. And I waited till the next night before helping.
She was very sticky.
Only after her I read that you should give the weak chick some molasses water and give it a wash to wash off the stickiness.
I saved one chicken chick after she pipped for over 30 hrs... Lost one because she pipped but got rolled over by other chicks on her face and died before I caught it :(
