SOS PLEASE HELP Shrink-wrapped? duck day 28

Okay update: I have widened the natural pip guys hole and he was all fine absorbin and chillin in his shell with his cute little beak out of the membrane but now this morning his wing i think is over his beak? I cant tell if he is pushing out or just too big for his shell. It looks like maybe he has some blood vessels still left to absorb?i dont know when it is time for him to come out i dont want him to get hurt if i misjudge that but it definitely looks like he’ll need an assist with that

@MGG how do I know when he's ready to come out? They all seem pretty unable to move (this one especially) so I don't want them to die from shrink-wrapping or assisting to early! ACK! A catch-22... or a ...

Can you post pics? If he's still yawning, and if there's still veins, he's not ready.
Lol!

the pic is the post above but I'll reattach it bc this app works not so great for me on the phone lol

Oops!!! I totally missed that.
Ok, so do you see any yawning motions?
He looks about ready to me.

he's yawing pretty infrequently, but it looks like there's one more vein I can see now that I look closer! So I'll give him time! that's good to know! I have opened three more up last night and this morning of the overdue chicks :barnie They all look pretty tightly wrapped but still have strong veins! I just hope I am doing the right thing!

woof! this is like a full-time job!

Ok. Well, if you still see it making any yawning motions, he's not ready yet.

one out! I assisted the wing one when it came time! Since he didnt zip naturally and twist his umbilical cord, should i snip it? or will it fall off in its own?
