Sound dampening a rooster run.

Clearly there's a noise issue. Fortunately I was able to find a solution. These are noise dampening furniture moving blankets. They are weatherproof and machine washable and make all the difference in the world. We put them on the sides of the welded wire kennel run which face the neighbors and tested by standing between the neighbor's property and the run itself. They work beautifully. You would think that those roosters lived five houses down.

That's an interesting idea that I never thought of before.

Easily replaced and machine washable.

I wouldn't personally want a load of chicken poop and potential rodent contamination in my washer -- especially because the water-saver features on modern machines make it difficult to get heavily-soiled items clean. But if you have the appropriate equipment.

How big is your house lot (acres).
How close are the neighbors house to Your Lot lines on all 4 sides.
