Soundproofing home / roosters crowing

U know, perhaps ppl have the wrong idea in mind. To make it clear, I live in a 6 room apartment and have the whole floor to myself. It's my brownstone but in consideration to my tenants in the other floors I want to take extra steps to ensure that they're not disturbed in any way. Thankfully to this day I haven't had any complaints and I'd like to keep it that way.
I would recomend again a no crow collar. Mine settled into wearing them in under a day and it cut the volume by half. I'm assumimg your roo is a LOT tamer then mine so readjusting and monitering use will be much easier for you.

If not, covering the walls in tapestries or blankets will quiet echoes and deaden the sound some. If you have a forced air system or vents to the lower floors and can cover them, that will also cut down on noise travel.

Thank u for ur feedback and I agree with u 100%. Animals should not be caged up. Notice, I never said that I kept the chickens in a cage. They have free range of the whole house. They're treated better here than in a lot of farms.
Do you find yourself chasing rooster poop all around the house?

I did come across the collars while researching and kinda pondered on it but then discarded that idea after thinking that I wouldn't want to deprive him of doing what is second nature to him. I also heard about surgery but, again . . . same idealism. The other tips u mentioned though about the curtains are actually brilliant. Thank u. 😊

Next time Im down near my boys with my phone I will take a video of him crowing for you.

You keep using these words...farm, nature, range...
I do not think it means what you think it means.jpg
