Sounds of spring!

YEP PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI AND SOUTH OF CINCINNATI HAS THIS... JUST THE FARTER SOUTH YOU ARE THE LONGER IT LASTS... ABOUT 6 MONTHS OR SO HERE, QUAILLADY IS PROBABLY MORE LIKE 7 MOS AS SHE'S QUITE A BIT SOUTH OF ME YET. WE ALSO GET SOME BRUTAL COLD BUT NOTHING LIKE RANDALL DOES... IT HAS BEEN DOWN IN THE TEENS HERE ALOT THIS WINTER, BUT ORDINARILY WE DONT HAVE BRUTAL COLD FOR MORE THAN A FEW DAYS, THEN MID 40'S-TO UPPER 50'S THEN ANOTHER BLAST OF BRUTAL COLD THEN BACK UP... SO ON AND SO FORTH FOR ABOUT 3 MOS, IN BETWEEN IS VERY LOVELY 60'S TO 80'S FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF ON EITHER SIDE OF COLD OR HOT

We get a few days of temps below 20F, and a few days of 95F+ each year, but it is nice living in a temperate rainforest zone, 20 miles from the ocean. T-shirts weather, when working outside, starts at 50 degrees when the sun is shining.

Winter averages 45 degrees for highs, and summer averages 75 degrees. Every few years we get a glorious February day in the high 60's, maybe even 70's.

I live near Houston and we have had ridiculous cold here too! But usually we are high heat and humidity as well. And we can go from in the teens yesterday - to today which as a high of 55! It's ridiculous! Last week the high was 72 and the next day the high was 36, then the day after that the high was 65! You can NEVER pack away your summer clothes, and in the summer....even the pool water isn't all that refreshing cause it's HOT! lol!
