Sounds that you love.

Oh! So many sounds I love! I am a very auditory person (I guess most of us are!). In no particular order:

Beethoven's Symphony #9 - it's good for the soul.

My husband's voice - I could pick his voice out in a room filled with thousands...it brings me comfort and serenity.

My horse neighing as I approach - this wonderful horse of mine whinnies everytime I disappear and re-appear! He is so social & it warms my heart!

The sound of corn fields rustling in the breeze

The sound of Elk bugling in fall.

Horses munching hay in their stalls. All is good. All is right in the world - at least for a moment.

The sound of a thunderstorm from the comfort of our home.

The sound of a river traveling by.

Waves pounding the beach. And if there are pebbles, I love how the pebbles sound like applause as they get tumbled around.

The sound of whales as they surface to breath.

Buoy bell clanging in the surf.

Red-wing blackbirds' calls - for reasons I cannot explain...?

My oldest daughter has the best laugh - she just crumples with laughter sometimes, and I just love it!

The quiet following a snow storm.

Fog horns - from a distance!

The crack of a baseball bat and the ball - I'm not a sports fan, but this reminds me of Cubs games with my grandpa when I was a kid, and I love the sound to this day.

...so many more!

The birds and wind outside the window when the rest of the house is quiet.
The "ding!" on the oven that means something is ready to eat!
