Sour crop cure?

I think my hen has sour crop, she has been lethargic and only walking around, not digging up dirt or scratching around. She laid a pale egg the other day and now her crop is squishy and full, and I checked in the morning and it was still full. How do I help cure it?

You need to find out what is causing her crop not to clear, and that could be many things. Would be best to have a vet look at her and have her poop checked for worm eggs, coccidia, bacteria and yeast. Vet could also check her crop for bacteria and yeast.

Would be best to keep her in a warm room with access to fresh water.
