Source for finches and/or canaries

Hi there, I’m new on BYC, and delighted to also see info on caged pet birds. Are there sources for obtaining these birds? I’m in Georgia & looking around for some indoor pet birds, specifically finches &/or canaries. Ideas? Suggestions?

Have you tried looking for rehomed ones? Is there any bird rescues near you? They may have some.

Yes, so far I haven’t had success with that… but keeping my eyes open. Great option!!
