I hope to sell out some later this year. It has taken me a while to figure out what breeds I wanted to go with and then blast it, I discover another wonderful breed.
Oh well, I have the room, if not the money or the sense to stop.
Just watering them all can take me an hour every morning and evening. We have lots of tractors as well as coops and about 7 brooders running now and are in the process of building 3 more tractors. I take my chickeneering very seriously.
Uh-uh, you will never get the smell of chickens out of your house!
It ain't just stuck to your shoes anymore. It is permeating your draperies and carpets.
Oh well, at least one roo isn't as bad as the many others. Good luck on the move. we changed around 3 coops the other night and it took me, my DD and DH almost an hour to carry and rearrange them all. Boy, were they confused when they got up the next morning! And for them to bed down the next night it sounded like a truckload of crickets!
