Not sure if they will have one or not. I guess they will see how this one goes. But I am pretty sure our Anderson bantam club is going to have a double show this fall.

I will miss you guys! Tell your kids, especially your son, that I will miss seeing their adorable birds at the show!

I will, and I think we already put the Anderson show on the calendar! :D

@Enola, cool, my Mom is in State College :)

I have been looking for Buff Orpingtons to breed (I have 10 already, can't have too many!) and called Tractor Supply in Lexington today. They got in 100 BO straight runs so I packed up the family and high-tailed it over there.

When we got there, DH asked me if we ought to offer our boys (twins, 7 years old) the opportunity to raise their own chickens, as they also had Black Australorps. The boys were very excited about this idea, so we came home with 10 Buff and 6 Black Australorps!

Now to figure out where to put them all (other than the big cardboard box in the kitchen)!

Hemingway SC here. New to owning chickens, I have 5 Tetra Tints, 3 Black Sex Link, 6 Red Sex Link, and 9 Rhode Island Reds. I get about 20 eggs a day. I have really enjoyed my Chickens.
