South Carolina

I am in Newberry County. I like the idea of communicating with folks near me. I have about 40 chickens now (way too many). My favs are the small bantams, but I also like the idea of having colored eggs. So, I ordered the Whiting True Blues, and I don't need
10 hens and 4 roos! I am wanting to sell about 7; 3 roos and 4 - 5 pullets. They are 4 months old. I also have some sweet Serama mixes that my hens hatched 4 months ago. Again, way too many! Let me know of any interest!!

Hey upstate SC. I live in Greenville County and need to get rid of my Self Blue Ameraucana Rooster...not due to restrictions, but an unhappy neighbor. I can understand, so I want to be a good neighbor. Check him out and let me know ASAP if you want him. Gene.jpg Gene2.jpg

We're in Taylors, (Greenville County) and have a neighbor with Duckwing Phoenix: 1 white, 2 red and 1 gold, all roos. They will be 6 mos old Aug 22. Their tails are already getting quite long, they are people-friendly but have an established pecking order since they were hatched together and have been in an all-roo group for several months. They are starting to assert dominance and need re-homing. These birds come from an NPIP hatchery and were from a roo-heavy straight run shipment. The owners are setting up a breeding program and were faced with the tough decision of having to choose from 14 roos total; they are beautiful, healthy, organically-raised, no antibiotics birds that meet basic breed standards. Please send a private message if you are interested.

Here is a photo of a Gold Duckwing Phoenix from Cackle Hatchery, which is where these birds are originally from. I will try to get photos of the actual birds themselves asap. :)

If you all know about a shelter that needs to move some animals from anywhere who are willing to drive. We have an empty basement with 2 extra rooms there too if needed to separate animals. Just provide crates. We also have a sturdy walk in chicken coop over 1 feet above the ground with only 10 chickens. If needed we can also add some animals there and lastly, we have over an acre of just grass in case someone needs to park anything here. Located in Clarksburg MD Frederick side.
