Hi folks!

I'm a Clemson grad student living in Pendleton, but I love me some Pickens Co Flea Market (and traveling the rest of the Upstate to find interesting stuff!).

I just received a shipment of 8 kids from MPC - 2 columbian wyandottes, 2 partridge rocks, 2 black australorps, an easter egger and an ancona. I can't wait for my second group of kids to grow up. They're 2 days old and I'm already seeing personalities emerging.

When is the swap? I'd love to come meet some other chicken folks in the area. I'm currently trying to figure out how to address a bumblefoot issue with my trio of 2yr-old BRs, so looking for advice or experienced help with that too.

Looking forward to meeting some of you Upstate folks!
Meg

Welcome to the SC thread! This group is addictive! The swap is this Saturday, August 6th, at the Tractor Supply in Irmo, SC (just this side of Columbia). It starts around 9:00. It should be great fun and a wonderful way to learn a lot and to meet some of the people on the forum. Hope we see you there.

He had a 3 1/2 hour drive from here so he had to be very close to you, assuming you are still in S.C.!

I didn't know he was going until he was there already. If he has to go back, I'll get your address and see if I can work something out. But it was 10:30 tonight before they got to leave and he won't be home for another 2 hours. That would probably have been too late for you. I would so love to have some of those coral blues. They've been on my wish list for as long as I've known about them. One of these days I'll have some. And I will keep them all, won't want to sell any of those beauties!
