Oh, gosh yes, they are fine for at least 24 hours and usually 48 hours. I think you are going to be one frazzled mama hen!

You and Jackie can have BLRW hatching at the same time! She came and picked a few BLRW eggs up from me for her broody hens. I couldn't get her to take more though!

LOL I think I don't have anything else much in life except working chickens and ducks. You guys are like a support group for my job. All the ups and downs, you guys are right there experiencing it, too. I love to help others out with what little I do know and love to talk. The chickens are not too good at conversations so you all help out a lot in that area! I love chatting and learning from you all, too! All my breaks are spent here on the internet and mostly on BYC. You all's my buds!

Nah, leave them in the hatcher until you get home tomorrow. They will enjoy the heat. They need sleep. Ah, to be a baby again!

THEY AIN'T SLEEPIN...THEY ARE EGG BOWLING!!LOL...Its freakin me out!!!

I know how that can be. I did not put Debra's in paper cartons this time to hatch out because they seem to be close enough to the heat coil on top to burn themselves and they are rolling eggs every where!
I always put mine in the paper cartons to hatch out. Less mess to clean up later. Sometimes though, you get a weird one to hatch upside down. I lost one a few weeks ago to that. I did not realize it until too late. But at least they aren't bowling!

Amy I have only 3 of your left...a silkie for mom...the one cochin...and one BLRW...

I tried but so many didnt develope and came out at day 10 and then 2 more at lockdown....I lost 2 of my BLRW/RIRs and 2 are only in because they looked about 3 days behind the others at lockdown so I knew there may be a chance they were slow and not dead...I started with 25 eggs, took out 11 at candle day 10 and 2 at day 18...
