I have never seen one up close, even here in Seneca, SC, but they look adorable. I just had 7 of my Georgia giant Quails hatch this weekend. Good luck on getting some Silkie's

I will be in Greenville Tuesday afternoon if anyone needs honey. I plan to be over in the Woodruff Rd/85 area around lunch time and up toward Taylors mid afternoon. I have a meeting at 6pm near University Ridge/Church St. Call me to arrange a time and location to meet.
I have wildflower from my farm in Pickens, wildflower from a strawberry farm (lighter in color and sweeter), and a few pints of SC sourwood made at my farm.

Welcome to all the new folks. I don't get on here much lately due to dial-up internet and my bee work.
I am growing out a few silkies to take to Chickenstock in May. I may have some Porcelain (self blue cream), blue and splash.
Can't wait to visit with everyone. I want to park between Amy and Krish/Robert. That will be so much fun. :)

I was so looking forward to spring chickenstock but I will be at the Science Olympiad national competition in Ohio that day :( I was wanting to bring some birds, possibly some silkies or turkeys, and of course bring a few home, but I guess I can't now. Oh well. I know you guys will have plenty of fun, be sure to take some pictures to share :)
