I love to go to the Anderson jockey lot, and I heard that they have chickens his time of year... Well do any of you South Carolinians know how much the pullets usually are??? I would like to get some more and have an idea of the price lol!!!

I've been wanting to, but also want to know if they're just selling old hens or what breeds.

Same here. I would hate to get some hens and they be 4 or 5 years old I was hoping that they would have 8-12 week old birds so there would not be a huge age difference from my current pullets and cockerels and no bullying would go on!

I just have a couple chickens, some buff orpingtons and some barred rocks. Searching for bantam cochins too!  How about you?

Ameraucanas, Silver Campines, Silkies, White Jersey Giants, and three really old hens.

I got new babies! This is the earliest I've ever had newbies, hopefully that means they'll be laying by early summer. I got 6 buffs, 3 Wellsummers, and 2 EE's. Ive had them about a week. Unfortunately the EEs didn't make it, but I was expecting that. I got them from Sals in Columbia and talking with the owner the shipment had troubles getting there and the chicks got cold. She gave them to me just to see if I could save them! Unfortunately that didn't happen. Plan on getting a second batch of chicks in April , hopefully some Barnvelders and EE's.

I'm sorry for your loss I'm glad you got chicks tho.l! I got some about a month ago and 1 of them passed. I'm a first time chicken owner and I love my chicks

TSC Chick Days are almost here! I'm really hoping for some barred rocks. Have a way-nicer-than-needed little 3x5 brooder cage almost set up.

I think TSC means tractor supply. I live near the one in seneca and I asked when they would be getting their chicks in and the lady said around the first of March. I hope that helps

Feb 20 through April 30, although you could probably go in tomorrow and them be there
