Snowing like the dickens here!

So far we have at least an inch if not another half. DH and the others are outside building a bonfire.

I am in here snug and warm, chicken chores are pretty much done except for closing up for the night and putting the Silkie hen and chicks back in the shed.

Hello everyone. I am from Bamberg, SC! hope to find someone close to me... I have just started building my coop, so I hope by spring to have it up and going!

Merry Christmas! No snow here as of yet. Chickens all tucked in and horses and llamas snuggled up in the barn. Now just watching for falling white stuff!

Hi! and Merry Christmas! You can blame the weather on MY husband. He gave me a rain suit --- so it had to rain here.
Beautiful day otherwise. Had all the brooder-babies tended, incubator-eggs turned, coops opened/fed/watered BEFORE the sun was up, and we were able to roll out earlier than usual to head south to visit the family.
I wore the new rainsuit to close coops by flashlight tonight.

Merry Christmas SC peeps!! And the Snow is AWESOME!!!! although my chickens will have to find out tomorrow! Oh I said Chickens not Chicks my very first girls are getting big and turning all red and have combs(some of you this is old news) but it's new to me and I'm so Happy my babies are growing and waiting on eggs in Feb/Mar

Thanks again to all my friends here, helping me with la chickens. That was the best gift this Year!!!

strictbaptist i went to bed christmas eve with 3 new mf cochins that hatched and santa left 7 nice mf cochins chicks chistmas day i had 10 mf cochins in the incabator no snow here yet maybe a little later. hope everyone had a wonderful christmas
