Yippee! I just won 2 dz Ameraucana eggs on the 24 hour auction. It was a fight to the finish but I was persistent and won.

I can't wait to hatch these out. If they are anything like the 2 new blue Ameraucanas we got up in NC these will be fantastic to add to my flock. Cree roos and Jean Ribbeck hens should make some terrific birds.

I usually remember it when I need it....or sometimes not!

It gets stored away in the brain until I need the info which is why I am able to answer some questions on here. I get really good hatches. I have had one bad hatch in the past 18 months so I must be doing something right.

Amy, I visit the crazy egg chain quite often, nearly everyday to see whats new. There's WAAAAAY too many bantams, silkies, cochins, and the like out there for me. Sorry to step on anyone's toes, but I'm a LF kinda guy. 86 that...a CLEAN-LEGGED, LF kinda guy

My timing is always off though cuz eveytime I see something I really want, I either don't have extras to post or have no room in the bator....BUT LUCKILY--- my gma bought a Little Giant Still Air (and since she is a retiree, she says she has the time to watch and turn them as needed so she's not buying a turner) HAVING SAID THAT we can now team up to hatch more babies to sell or gain eggs to hatch for breed we really want!

Blues and blacks. I already have the 2 blue girls and totally love them! They jump into my arms at night to be carried into their cage in the shed and are big honking girls! The egg color is great and DH wanted more. Not sure if these hatching will be like those girls but I can hope!
