100% chance of rain at 8. Batten down the hatches!!!
thanks for the heads up.. gonna make them go to bed early tonight.. even though they look at me like Im crazy cause its not bedtime yet.. just like kids..
I tell ya'll, I just made a cake for my Hubby and I am SSSSSOOOO ready for fresh eggs, instead of these pale yellow yoke eggs from the store.. I wonder how long ago they were laid? probably a long time? . which makes me ask how long are fresh home girl eggs in the fridge? is there a difference in types or colors of eggs and their longevity in the fridge..
Oh AND I might have make a big mistake today... while I was trying to keep the flock up in the front yard.. well to get them to stay with me.. I offered a goodie.. at first they weren't sure then the dinosaur in them came out.. here's the big no no part... it was a zucchini out of the garden in reg zuc form not chopped up.... oh I hope they don't figure it out and start harvesting their own zucchini now...
hope the storms tonight don't hit any of us too hard.. rain is fine that torrential down poor with 70 mph winds. not cool...

I love when ducklings or goslings get to play and swim in the water... cant wait till colt kills all the snapping turtles out of the pond so we can have ducks again.. Im too worried they would get eaten by those monsters right now..

Quite a bit jealous of that fact. I don't know what it is about Beaufort, but the rain always seems to die right before it gets to us! Must be the breeze off the ocean, but I would LOVE some rain!
y'all be careful in these storms..we just had part of the roof of an awning attached to our barn ripped off by the wind...right after I got myself and our horse out from under it..scary stuff..
I was going to say the same thing. These are coming up fast and furious. We had some huge branches down in our neighborhood, but lots of damage around us closer to Furman, I think. Looks like Simpsonville and beyond are really going to get it again. Check in when it's over, please.
