Kimberly, it was on my FB page a while back. You must've missed it. Here's a link, let me know if it doesn't work. For some reason I can't upload the image right now.

I should say that I didn't put anything specific on there about kids, but it seems that just having "rules" posted makes it more of a business and less of a park/recreation place. And then, maybe I've just been lucky. But I've had my share of those people who just don't respect my property and I'm done being too nice about it. This is my home first, business second.

Great sign, Joy!

I think we are going to reduce our laying flock. If so, I'll have about 30 laying hens for sale. A lot of Easter Eggers and a few of the rest: Columbian Rock, Patridge Rock, LF Cochin, and I can't think what else. If anyone needs some layers, let me know. $10/each.

Well this has been a super emotional week in the chicken hood....NaddyBlue was doing wonderful scratching and eating and I think the heat got to be to much and she was a weak pullet, and the night before i was gonna take her to the vet she died. I'm was sad and was glad she's not suffering anymore. BUT STILL had to go to the vet with one of my BuffOrps...Her eye was HUGE

and swollen...Turns out she had a sinus infection and a bad one and so did two of my BarredRocks ALL got ABX and now all are good to go but I had to not use their eggs for a few day while on ABX. Anybody got any Home Remedies for sinus infection in Chickens...I"M LISTENING!!!!! to all advice!
OK I'm still on the fence about the Rooster, I see the positive but I really SEE the negative, He causes so much CHOAS in the order of the hens that some of them don't even come down from their roost in the morning so that they don't have to deal with him....URG ARG!!!!!!! Will this get better or is there never gonna be peace again...Oh he's a Blue JG.
Now for the sweetiest thing ever....

My little Polish hen PumPum Jumped up in my lap tonight and sat on my leg and let me push the feathers from her eyes so she could see to get to the coop after it rained...Oh and Amy PumPum will 99% never go into the Big Coop so....I see with my eyes that you maybe hatching Polish chicks(although I need more like a hole in the head)Keep me informed!!!I do plan on building "Her Cluelessness Princess PumPum"

What age are the partridge rocks and easter eggers?

The partridge rocks were born July 1st last year. I have two groups of EE that I can't tell apart. Some were born July 1st last year and the rest were last November. So the oldest are 1 year old. I lost a bunch of EE to that danged hawk but I still have a lot.

Great! I'll see how much business I can drum up this weekend. If I could sell enough birds to buy chicken food AND a few more layers it would be a great day!

I would really love to have some of those partridge rocks. And my egg customers LOVE the green eggs. I can always find an excuse, now to put the money with it.

Sorry about your chicken, it has been a hard year healthwise for my birds too. Sinus infections seem to be a common thing for everyone that I know who's keeping chickens. I wonder why? In 6 years of keeping them I never had a bird with a sinus infection. And I think PumPum deserves her own special coop and some very special friends to keep her company. Those polish are a different kind of bird, in a good way.

And Happy Chicken Anniversary!
