That is so funny! I have to be careful when I take food outside. Mine are so used to me bringing them treats, if they see something in my hand, they automatically assume it's for them and go after it!

Oh yes! Mine are rotten!

Actually my rooster who is actually the devil, but not? He is half evil. We will go with that. Anyway heslearned to stand at the door and tap and I give treats. Well now he likes to come in the house with the dogs. I don't mind because he doesn't poop and stays right in the kitchen. Well he may have lost his privileges earlier this week. Again I was making a sandwich on my lunch break from work and he ws eyeing me from the floor and in slow motion I saw his head bob and him lift off.

I had ninja reactions. Threw out my arm and he landed back on the floor disoriented. Then crapped! Then my dogs snuck behind him and ate the poo. And I am standing there with a half made sandwich eye twitching.

I don't mind the rooster walking in the kitchen because he had never pooped inside before. And I wear my everyday shoes in the coop through the kitchen so I figure there can't be much difference. But the kitchen counter is off limits. That's holy sacred ground!

Westknollamy,
I think Our 9.5 week old Coral Blue guineas (goonies) must be trying to communicate with yours a couple counties away. That is the only reason I can think that they could constantly speak so loudly. when they get older will they learn an "Inside" voice? they are goint to make the chickens deaf, I will need to get earplugs for the chckens.

Still catching up but I saw the last photos of Silkie Polish cross and wanted to share my lovely lady.

She is actually from a Frizzled Polish and Silkie but came out smooth so I am crossing her back to my Butter Butt, Sizzle roo. After I raise a few chicks from her I thought perhaps Yancy may want her but I had not asked so I am not sure. She is a nice girl but I only have her for improving the tops on my Sizzles.
