I will be selling these. I have one customer that I need to accommodate as he's been waiting a while but I will have extras. He's only wanting 2 pair.

Will do - what age do you prefer to get them? It takes a few weeks to tell the gender but I can tell these earlier than most. You're added to my list.

I get all the old bread from the food pantry every Wed. and give it to my birds. Sometimes I have so much that they do not even eat all that I offer. I feed it to free ranging as well as penned birds. Mine love it and gobble up what they want but none of mine are fat and they still eat their regular food. I have free choice fed it to my roosters that we put up for meat from the time they are 6 weeks old on up and not gotten any more fat on them from it than the ones that seldom get bread.
I think it depends on how much exercise they get but if a bird has free choice good food then they will eat that. Chickens are pretty smart and they know nutrition when it is put before them but not given a choice they will consume whatever they can readily get to keep from starving. Or in their mind, keep from starving. Chickens and ducks always say they are starving. Oh, and horses, too!

I made a new page for my website. One of many that need to be done but the rain helped keep me inside to work on it.

Still catching up on reading the posts. LOVE the new page on guineas! The pictures are great. And thanks for the honorary mention.

Guinea girl looks so good and I'm so happy that she's being a good mother! Makes me feel like I have some good stock here. Your keets are beautiful, the lavender are still my favorite I think. I have some unusual colors this hatch. I need to post a picture and let you or Redbug tell me what I have. That's on my "to do in my spare time" list.

As soon as you can tell...I LOVE chickies but I am learning to be patient if I dont want a ton of roosters...LOL...Lucky for me my 2 pairs of boys get along so well! I believe it is because they have been raised together and I am only looking to rehome one silkie roo because I fell in love with the mille and I am trying to keep to a reasonable amount of banty sizes!! But I am too attached to my black silkie...he will grow old with me...its his eyes! My other banties are the self blue OEB. I cannot find anyone with them so I am making them my signature bird...but the Mille did me in soooooo......hehe( it helps the DH really wants some too...he is already planning their coop/run!!)

BIG THANKS FOR ADDING ME!!!
