You are welcome to visit them anytime!!

Speaking of birds being picked up. The white d'uccle trio is still available

May also be some partridge silkie chicks available. Straight run as who the heck can tell what they are until they crow or lay and egg. Not sure on numbers, age or cost yet.....

got a question.. one of my flock has worms.. he or she just happend to poop into my water pitcher and the water separated the worms loose.. If I use ivenctin oral do I have to throw away the eggs for 2 weeks.. or can I boil and give them back.. ???

I just look in the incubator--I have 2 eggs in the hatcher, a cochin and the very first egg I got from them BBRed OEGBs the day I got them(she had only laid 3 eggs and 2 were recently). Anyway, both eggs have pipped!!! We will hopefully have our first BBRed OEGB chick by this time tomorrow!

If you are eating the eggs yourself then no, you do not need to toss them. You will be dewormed right along with them.

Actually, it takes a lot more to deworm us with Ivermectrin. It is a product the Drs give humans but you could have a reaction to it same as Collies. It has never bothered me but I do not sell the eggs if I use it.

I am sending more out in the mail tomorrow. I went on the swap thread again and grabbed 3 pairs of medical scissors. Mine seem to walk off around here for some reason.

So the next person up grabbed my meal worms. That's cool because I have 4 bins and they are multiplying like mad. I don't feed them to my chicks often enough, I suppose.

Ok Mrs.Amy...if you have been reading you know that I now require(hehe) to know where you are so I can pick up my precious cargo Saturday!! PLEASE!! I have been wanting to see your farm for a while so it will be the most awsome day for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANKS FOR BEING THE MEETING POINT ALSO!!! I am bringing extra carriers just incase chicken math gets me again!!

I usually do become the meeting point since I am such a chatty Kathy and enjoy seeing humans some times. If I cluck or quack just ignore me! I am too used to being with feathered friends instead of real humans!

Bat Cave Sandy and Mary the Southern Bee Lady met up here once and got treated to deer coming along and giving us a pretty show within a few feet of us. We were all standing there in awe of them and none of us thought to snap photos until long after they walked away. I can't promise a nice show like that but the chickens are cool!

Janelle knows she is always welcome here. We share the love of bantam Cochins along with tons of other great things to talk about. Both of us yakking on at 90 miles an hour about all kinds of stuff keeps us busy for hours but I know she will be tired after the rabbit show, too.

I'll PM you my addy and give you my cell number. Though I suppose most everyone on this list already knows all that.

Oh, and so sorry the grass is not cut. There is a nice 15 ft path cut as we go into the barnyard and there sits the lawnmower, dead yet again! I guess now is the time to buy one since it is the end of the season. This time a certain person is not going to be allowed to use it!

I swear, everything that man touches falls apart.....and hence the way I am.

Have the chicks hatched out yet???

I had 2 Swedish Blue ducklings hatch out the other day. They are so adorable. Not mine though. But at least I get to kiss and love on them for about a week. I have an older sister to them. Once the chicks hatch out this week then Debra will come pick them all up. I love to hatch but don;t want to feed them all.

Oh! Oh! Oh! That reminds me....my Golden Cascade ducks have started laying! Five and a half months old and I got 4 eggs yesterday. After all this time I still get excited about eggs. Like a treat for feeding and caring for the buggers.

Oh yeah, Williams feed prices dropped by 50 cents yesterday!
