Look at his legs, he is young. He is not an old bird at all. I would have a fecal test run on him.
He is a very handsome dude! I love his coloring!

I would also add Niacin to his drinking water and wait on the fecal test results.

I ran through the gamete on mine tonight down in the brooder room. As I switched them over to their clean, dry brooder I checked everyone's tushy and wing pits. I have 40 adorable little chicks in that brooder. I am down to 4 brooders now and only a few chicks on the floor. It is getting quiet in there.

Got a huge question and I cant get a clear pic to show...I have 3 D'uccle eggs I set on friday after I set my first batch so today is day 18...I am waiting on lockdown bator to level back out after cleaning so I candled my eggs...one looks no good with no movement but I will set it any way...had one of my others I thought was bad hatch but lost that chick sometime today=(...one eggs looks great with good movement...the third is the one I am worried over...it looks like the membrane is peeled loose inside egg and chick looks way smaller than the good egg but I see tons of movement...WHAT IS THIS?????

It is in the first bator since my lockdown bator has super high humidity...(I assume from water in the foam where I washed it...I did dry it with a towel but
hu.gif
it is at 85% but it is coming down). The bator its in is at 41% as it is my 18 day bator before lockdown...is this egg internally pipped and if so do I need to move it asap??

Not sure exactly what you're describing but I will tell you that my d'uccle's always hatch early. They're the first of any batch to hatch and I usually have some hatch at day 19.

They are in lockdown now...I am hoping for all 3 but one I am pretty sure is bad...we lost power sunday morning and the temp dropped to 86 in that bator...I am hoping I am seeing internal pipping...I marked them all so I know which are the ones I am worried over...then I have 3 more next tues for lockdown...she is laying 3 a week usually and I am trying to hatch all I can right now, some to sell and some for my own flock!!!

THANKS!!!
