Sorry to hijack, but don't you have to compost the manure first?

Oneofseven, some poor people do not own chickens (imagine that!) and they need the poop to go in their compost pile. I've seen bags of rabbit poop at chicken swaps for sale. I think it was $5 for one of those 50 pound bags half full.

Hey, the food came outta the bag. The, um, food waste goes back in the bag! Works for me. Or would, but my mosey girls try to climb in and on the bag while I'm trying to scoop. Turdy birds, lol.

$5 ? Wow, I think I have found a new job.

Hey Y'all....

Coming in at the end of a poop discussion...

How long should I let the chicken poo sit before I start using it for my veggies? I "assume" until it is dry, or is there a time frame? I also "assume" the same for the rabbit poo....interestingly, I have both, so I have a buffet of poo!

Calling all egg layers!!!! Swamp Rabbit Cafe needs more wholesale dozens as well as eggs for their bakery. If you can, please pm me for more info. You do NOT need a liscense if you sell to their bakery.

Hi everyone!! Been a while since I've got on here..all honors classes plus tennis has made my schedule full! However, tennis is over now, so now I can at least get home without falling instantly into bed

My 'mystery chicks have also grown as well, and I'm confused as ever to who their father is. I don't even know how to describe these colors anymore.

I'm thinking that these two girls (they are brown, you can barely see them) may be the mothers to some of them, because of their browness, and the fact that they seem to love the Polish Roo

Maybe I can accomplish some things, including finishing my chicken coop remodel. Anyways, I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Stay warm!
