It sounds like cocci. Although medicated feeds have a growth inhibitor in them for coccidiosis it is not fool proof. Many chicks still get cocci while on medicated foods so I prefer to treat my own way instead of wasting extra money on the starter.

If you have rolled oats I would add that to their food. Put it in the blender so it will chop it up a bit more fine for consumption. You also can add some hard boiled egg to that. I would remove the chicks from the medicated food and just use regular starter and each week treat with Sulmet. It has been working great for me these last months with that schedule.

Yeah, I noticed you were more quiet and not laughing as much. I knew you had been up all night fighting that crazy headache. I know with this cloudy weather I am hoping I won;t get one. We are trying to get ready for that big Thursday dinner here and still have to do ducks today.

Do you know, that was only the third time in 22 years I have been somewhere without Nicole? And all three times have been in the last 2 years!

Ha! You teach me stuff about Silkies all the time! I may never show them but I still like trying to keep good quality pets.

I wish I could make another show but I already have appointments set up for Sat.
Dalton GA is a bit further drive than Winston Salem but there will be more variety shown and possibly higher numbers at Dalton.
