It's official, there is a new Backyard Chickens Mascot.

Got my fuzzies this last week. Still trying to figure out what they are. They came from my pet chicken, the brown egg laying grab bag... should be fun!


Got the door on their new home this weekend. Should have their new digs ready in time for them to go outside.

I know I was stunned when Kimberly held back from going over and talking to him. Now if Nicole had been there she would have done just what Mary did! March right up and introduce herself and start talking!
I was a bit taken back by Kimberly being too shy and taken back by Mary just marching off to where he was and I just stood there gaping at my friends and wondering how I could have them confused with each other.

It is usually Kimberly boldly going off to do something and I never think of Mary as bold at all but I am sure she is since she does so much.
What a bunch of awesome friends I have though!

) that the worst he could do was say go away

or something nasty

I am just so happy that someone of his caliber in breeding would talk to someone like me that knows nothing but wants to learn.
You knew so much about breeding silkies and was so knowledgeable and I was just trying not to say anything too dumb.

Sometimes it just amazes me how doors are opened when I least expect them.

Well my Bags are packed and NYC here I come.... Taking the Train up (bucketlist stuff) I will still be checkin in on BYC I hope, if the city doesn't take me over!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!!
