Adorable! I see some splash, partridge, and is that blue too?

Gavin has 1 white, a splash and 3 black hens with a black roo.
I was happily surprised by the partridge.

Yes u can keep them together. Mine were hatched and raised by a silkie mama. They think they r chickens. Kind of funny watching a turkey follow a chicken around. They now roost on top of the chicken coop and in trees. Pretty nice too

U have a confession to make.. I have offically CHICKENED OUT... i just cant butcher my 3 little piggies that I have left of the 4-h broilers project . its taken them a while of being with the flock since oct 23rd. to start acting like real chickens.. they for the first time yesterday came running and flapping their wings, like little chicks do at what 2 weeks old. and they are growing taller, they love to be petted.. they still have a huge appetite but they actually look really healthy and not overweight. they are learning how to go bugging with the flock in the garden..

so yup I have chickened out ... I just cant do it.. guess they get to be card holding member's of the flock to live out their lives however long that may be...

Sorry to have missed y'all at the Clemson show - my mom showed up and we took an impromptu trip to NC to play "guess the roo" with my Uncle's 20 6-wk old's... and one of his EEs crowed while my brother was holding him!

I hope it's not too long til the next *something*... I do look forward to meeting you ladies!
Meg
