Congrats to Kimberly and Yay to Lauren!

I have a sick Lav Silkie roo. He was just sitting in the coop and when my son approached him, he just sat there. Very listless. No mites or lice. Doesn't seem injured. I put him in one of the tractors and made up a yummy bowl of stuff for him but he wasn't interested. I hope he makes it! Everyone else seems fine. He did seem a bit thin. I wonder if he's scared of the other roos. I have quite a few in that coop. So sad.... he's great quality. I hope he makes it!

Kimberly, who judged the silkies? Was it Jim? He's more of a meat bird guy himself which I learned when I was rattling on and on about silkies. Some people just don't get silkies!

I'm too lazy to get on my computer to post photos of my new bud! He sure is handsome. So far he doesn't like me though! He's doing a lot of nervous tooth chattering. But I brushed him and am stroking him and he's calming down

He was kinda spoiled growing up, I think. I am sure in no time you will have him used to your spoiling, too. Janelle is glad he went to a very good home. He sounds like a real sweetie.

I am super tickled with all she brought to me! I can't wait to get them out in the daylight and look over the new youngins. Poor Cowboy may have to wait a few days to be placed in a new breeding pen. I swear I am roo poor and too dumb to realize it! But they are all so pretty!

He led a sheltered life.....I took him and both brothers to a show back in early october (and sold the brothers)...that was the first time he had ever been out of the laundry room.....and since then he has been in a cage out in the bunny area in the garage. He just needs some time to settle down.

I use pine pellets in his litterbox to keep shavings out of his hair. He should be able to be on a solid floor eventually once he learns where to potty again.

Good luck, I hope you enjoy him! He is a sweet boy.....

I'll go find some pine pellets. Right now I'm using stuff that came with the cage and it's like balled up recycled newspaper? It's so light and fluffy it has to be brushed out his hair. I had him in my bed with me last night. I love to lay in the bed and stroke soft bunnies...haha while writing in my journal and such. My cat Tacoma is super happy I got a new rabbit after her friend Panda died. She LOVES bunnies. She's not aggressive or anything she loves to follow them around the house, paw at their ears and lick their face. It's so cute.

On his way home. I bought one of those little cages...10 bucks was a steal I think! Even if I never use it with the bunny I bet it will get used with my bantams.

All brushed out! He looks like he is giving me the stink eye, but it's the angle I took the photo!

Glad to see you made it home safely, Nella Bean! I was glad to see you traveling with friends. You know how I worry when you travel alone.
Thank you for returning the handsome Cowboy! I will put him with some real beauties now. And thank you for the other Mottleds. I can't wait to get them in the breeding pens!
