That could be arranged...although Gator wont purposly eat one he does drool on them as he showers them with love!!

Well don't hold that against him...he drools on my boot...or my knee...or whatever when I come over...but he isn't about to eat me either! LOL He just DROOLS!

After a while you really do not notice the noise! I hear mine outside right now disturbed by something though--Oh, I guess I do hear the noise still....

You kind of do get used to it. And then you'll suddenly realize it's quiet and wonder what's wrong!

I have a chance to meet an ole' timer chicken farmer soon that has what I think is an older breed bird that lays white eggs. I have seen a little - off and on - about how people basically do NOT want to buy white eggs and really prefer to buy the browns/darker browns and green/blue eggs. He has had this breed for many years and only this breed. I am kinda interested in this breed and want your opinion. He has Dorkins (sp) which lay a white egg. What is your experiences and opinion on the breed and also the white eggs for selling? Would you think the eggs and also any hatched chicks would be wanted or of any value?

I just looked them up again this morning and see that they are a 5 toed breed. If his fit the description of a true Dorking I would think they would be a very good breed to have--as I said on FB, I would buy some hatching eggs from you! I have actually been looking for someone that sell their eggs. Let me know if you do get some but check them out and make sure he has not introduced any other breeds and that they at least still meet basic standards. If they do I would go for it--and you can sell me some eggs!!

Jackie, we need to get him a coral blue hen! We will work on that in 2012!

How are you feeling!! Are you able to eat? What stuff are craving? I soo loved Mexican food when I was pregnant!
