I'm surprised at how big the eggs from the Orpingtons are already. The ones from the Wyandottes and from the Ameraucana are what I expected pullet eggs to be. We now have some spoiled pullets who think that anytime I come into Lou Ann's backyard or she comes out her back door, there should be treats in hand or they should be let our of their run! It sure didn't take them long to learn (or get vocal about it)!

I have spoiled chickens also this is what happens when I let them out and they don't have oats/BOSS/catfood or a melon or ALL of these things in their "Special" bowl where treats are....They Come Lookin for ME!!!!

What a pretty flock. I want to know though how you keep your porch so clean? I have about 12 chickens that like to spend the day on my front porch, they aren't house trained yet.

I pressure wash mine periodically...mine is cement and a hose gets the bulk but the pressure washer gets the stain spots...

Joy- this was just a good day. Now ALL the chickens like to sun bathe in front of the frenchdoor on the deck...I do try to altleast everyother day sweep, but some days "it's bad" others "Clean" lol!!! I try to discourge the hangin out on the deck but it's not a battle I can win...lol

I was thinking the site was going to be down mainly for the day. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't start the changeover sometime after midnight. It's a task I would NOT want to be in charge of. My DH still can't get over the 113,000+ people talking about chickens!
