I don't like the white either. And the page loads VERY SLOW.

I am back, too. I wondered who would be first after the site was back up. I will be okay with the white if I change my monitor settings or the brightness on my ipad. As for the speed, it may be due to so many getting on at once or the ads. I am going to get the Gold Feather Membership so I can turn off the ads, I think.

Wow! Very nice eggs! Are these from wheatens?

Yes, this was from the wheaten pen. My blue and black pen hasn't started laying yet, though I have one older blue lady in there that should come back on line soon. I have seen Billy Bob doing his duty so when she starts laying again I will set her eggs since she is a hen and not a pullet. But the wheatens are all young. Well, the roo is actually blue wheaten and the girls are just wheaten but I will incorporate that gene in and make more blue wheatens. Their eggs are a nice size for new layers so they must going to be pretty large when they are older.
Wish the color was better in the photo but inside at night it looks much lighter with the flash.

I was expecting mine to be slow since I am on dial up. Not quite as bad as I thought it would be.
Navigating is jumpy. At least that is how I would describe it. I am sure that is because of slow dial up. Computer just gave me a message that it is having to increase the virtual memory paging file.
Maybe that will speed up things a little.

I use Firefox. I may have to try google chrome.
I keep looking for another option rather than dial up but so far nothing. Satelite is just too expensive and when we had Directv out here, it was very erratic. I would hate for my internet to be the same especially at the price it would cost. I cannot get good cell signal in the house so that is not an option. ATT does not have their u-verse close enough for me to get internet. Most people on our dead end street don't even use Att land line any more so very little chance of them putting it down here. I am 600 feet off the road so Charter is out of the question. They wanted $1000 to run it to my neighbors house which is about the same distance.

I'm not having as much trouble but I did try to play with it before they launched the real site. It is a bit too much white for me and I hope to change that. Still trying to find the settings for it all though. The video is a big help to anyone that is having trouble and there will be more videos later.

Had to edit because I can't see the words as well on this system so I can't tell if I made any mistakes. Gotta fix that!

I think I read the PPM's can get rid of the white side column. I know Gold Feather Members can opt not to see ads. I would probably save more than $20 if I didn't see the ads! It reduces the temptation to click on them and want to buy something.
I'm heading out to run some errands on this rainy morning and gather the eggs. Lou Ann actually had me get them after work yesterday, just to see if Maranda would let me find one of hers. No such luck. Harriet skipped a day, too. Maybe today will be a real multicolor egg day!
