I though it was Phoneman that bought the birds from Gary. I was going to say that but without remembering exactly I did not want to call names.

How are those working out for you? Do you like them? Is there anything you do not like about them?
I bet they lay nice big blue eggs!


Yes, I love playing with colors and fonts. Wish there were more on here. You all would hate that!

Mine load fairly quickly. Of that I am glad. I have uploaded photos without any problems, too but still have a long way to go to figure out all the new bells and whistles.
I hate getting all my tax stuff together! It takes away from having fun!

yes i bought 12 hens and 3 roosters about 2 or 3 yrs old of the bl/w ameraucanas.1 black rooster and 6 black hens, i blue rooster and 3 hens, and 1 pr. splash.
they are very nice birds. the colors are perfect.i thought i would be better off buying the chickens instead of eggs that way i would be getting eggs right away. the combs need a litte work on the wheaton ameraucana. but,all in all i am satisfied

Yes, Gary is a good guy! I got some of my Araucanas from him. MOF, from all the people I got Araucanas from his bloodline is the ones I have left. I sold the others because they had been bred with tails and such and gave me some less than pleasing chicks. Gary's stock is very nice.
There is some one else on here that bought some Ameraucanas from Gary but can't remember who it was. Gary is excellent to deal with and because of health issues has had to sell more than I know he wanted to. He is an older gentleman but last I saw of him he was still pretty spry!
You will do well to get Ameraucanas from him. I believe his stock is very nice and healthy. He never keeps junk. I do recommend him for any breed.

Yes, he said he was almost 80. I was impressed with his knowledge of so many different breeds including Dominiques. He also told me some things I did not want to know about some ebay sellers but good information. It was a fun conversation and I was so excited to know I have a rooster out of his stock! I love chickens and I love them even more when I get to talk about nothing but them!!
 
Gary does love to talk chickens. He knows a lot about them. Been in them for longer than some of us have been alive.
Good to know you already have some of his bloodline and I am sure you would be pleased to get more of is birds.
And I don't even have any of his Ameraucanas! I went with bloodlines from different places so if I had to get something local it would not be exactly the same. But it doesn't mean I don't like his birds.
