LOL Sorry, Susanne. No mystery. Samantha is bringing some birds back from GA when she goes to the show in a few weeks. She will be meeting up with Janelle, aka Nella Bean, and picking up more Mottleds for me. Some are new bloodlines for me and at least one is what I bred here so she is coming back home. Samantha is just kind enough to go through all the trouble for me and I really appreciate it.

There is only a slight breeze here today. Not really much wind. I am trying to clean house a bit so Kris and Robert don;t think they stepped into a pig sty. Unfortunately, I never learned how to keep house well since we had a maid when I was growing up. Thank goodness DD helps out but it is still a wreck!

I swear, the love of everyone on this thread is totally awesome and every time I reach out to you all there is kindness and giving. I would like to thank you all for being there for me and especially thank Samantha right now for the huge favor she is doing for me. What an friend!

I am with you on that! I didn't say I like their ethics but the food is one place I will stop and grab a bite to eat if I am on the run. And DD's school has them in the car line every Friday morning so that was my breakfast but I sure try not to think about the other stuff.
DH refuses to buy Smithfield for ethical reasons, too. Not all places love their animals like we do before doing the deed.

You are so right about feeling better if we did not eat that processed food. I try so hard not to but it is a losing battle when it comes to convenience. I am such a weakling!

Amy I just got my first egg from the Cochin girls I got from you. They are so sweet. They sit in my lap and darn if it doesn't sound like a purr coming from them. Thank you, I'm really enjoying the girls.

me too lately on the convenience thing... not felt like cooking so take out is what we have been stuck with....and frozen pop in oven meals.

Can't wait til I feel better. Stupid germs.

going on 3 or 4 weeks now.


btw: I refuse to buy smithfield too ;)
