DH wants to go to stockyard tonight.

It is hard to walk for me........pain in hip bad this week....darn cold has moved to joints. I say cold........doc says touch of bronchitis, sinus infection, and possible inflammed lymph node in elbow, and something else I dont remember.

Nasty germs.

Shoot I don't get to do nothing anymore. I would be considering getting rid of birds if it wasn't for Nicole & Todd these past few weeks. I think I have only been out to feed them maybe 3-4 times....I try to at least go gather eggs, but I am moving so slow it is ridiculous!

This being the SC thread I was hoping someone on here could help me extend my flock. I was looking for some fresh hatching eggs from a reliable source or very young chicks. I have 20 Ameriacuanas and Dominques now but I was interested in some grey games ( gorgeous birds, Hamburgs, more Americuanas lol or something not seen often but not bizarre. I'm not much on crested birds btw

I don't have those! Wait I do have 3 Silver Spangled Hamburgs...but no rooster so they are my laying hens

Susanne does have some Amers though!

I am more into the feather legs & crested birds (cochins & silkies)

Amy I just got my first egg from the Cochin girls I got from you. They are so sweet. They sit in my lap and darn if it doesn't sound like a purr coming from them. Thank you, I'm really enjoying the girls.

There is only a slight breeze here today. Not really much wind. I am trying to clean house a bit so Kris and Robert don;t think they stepped into a pig sty. Unfortunately, I never learned how to keep house well since we had a maid when I was growing up. Thank goodness DD helps out but it is still a wreck!

WHat is a Clean House? Seriously, please dont worry about it, we are very laid back.

Welcome. We dont have any of those, and so far we havent even gotten any fertile eggs yet.
