I see a lot of you "Talking about bees" Well one of the Doctors I work for raises bees, and orchid&bonsai..anywho... He always talks about getting fresh eggs when he was a little boy, so I started bringing him some, and he trades me in honey!!! That Stuff is the BEST!!! I will never buy it in a store again. Oh and he loves my chickens eggs and talks all about how good they are!!! AND he also last year just gave me 15orchids that he simply didn't want any more and a 4 year old Ginko Bonsai tree!!! Oh I forgot to mention he's a master gardener and I "listen" to everything he saids about orchilds and bonsai's and with that knowledge I have learned so much, JUST like I do to you peeps talkin about chickens! I have learned so much in a very short time!

You seem to have some awesome friends!

I found HIGHLAND COWS close and cheap but I dont have land ready for them!!

I have wanted these for a while and are in planning but I can get 3 for what 1 was going to cost from the closest registered breeder who was in Virginia!!

I need my couple acres picked out logged, cleaned and fenced...RIGHT NOW!!!!(need a hands crossed tappy foot smiley!)

What is so bad is I emailed them to see if they breed or can tell me who they came from so I can start planning for end of summer but no reply!

That is a good idea

but DH isnt completly sold on them and having to keep them at a different location isnt going to warm him up to the idea! He does want to get a bottle bull calf to raise for meat when we do the clearing but the idea of one just for the CUTE of it is hard to push...They are all cows,no bull so I would still need to get one to breed them! They are easy cheap keepers and so unique! There is just no way I could butcher one! I emailed again...maybe they will see that I do want some later and then maybe I can get a couple much younger to raise!!

It only took me 16+ years to convince him to agree to 6 chickens!! ( I have grown to well over 60 since the first 6 in April! ) I am sure when the time is right they will appear!

Thats what happened with the goat!!

possibly someone nearby to surrogate them for you for a while?

Daddy to my little Dorking chickadees...LOL...why do I love the Roo's so much? You can also see a few hens. Very good layers...very friendly and easy keepers! 5 toes and a huge comb with an extra point...white medium eggs...short legs...heavy...good meaty birds too...very ancient breed that is endangered...picture really does not do him justice! The white cape kinda glitters in the sun!

Congrats on the chicks! Hope you get some nice birds and if you have extra pairs to sell, keep me in mind. They're on my "list".
