Ain't that the TRUTH! Can you believe she is a teacup Chihuahua / toy terrier mix still alert and guarding (OK I got her back!) at 13 going on 14 in April !?! I am looking for an Australian Sheppard / Sheppard mix for a true outside LGD if anyone hears of a GIRL available...will be well loved and taken care of...yep...I want a girl! Now you all know I am prejudice...at least in dogs, and goats! and...horses...OK...can I say it now? WOMEN ROCK!!!!!! sorry guys....just my thoughts at this moment...

Patsy my LGD is Aust Shep/Chow mix.(Got her at the pound)..and is GREAT with my chickens. Actually she knows not to hurt but must protect our yard....Now if a Strange Chicken came running through the yard(who knows) what would happen. But with ONE look from my EYES...she knows better. She also knows 3 whistle commands and two hand...Great Dog for 80.00 at the pound... but a member of the family...priceless.!

It's just the next step in the whole chicken addiction adventure. Have fun!

Better than TV huh?

The Aussie/or Aussie/collie mix are very smart and alert and a sweet breed for a family or even a single...not big roamers if they have enough to look after...I am a great fan! I had a collie/Aussie mix as a child and much later in life my DD got me an Aussie mix who loved me and I loved her! I miss her and maybe if I am lucky enough to have 4 great dogs in my life I will get to enjoy another Aussie / mix....the 3rd would be the Chihuahua mix in the previous posts as my current INSIDE only LGD..!

I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day today. I had a special surprise, 2 little chicks hatched for me today. They aren't due til tomorrow but I always have a millie hatch early. These are my first babies since before Christmas so I've really enjoyed hearing those little peeps all day long.

I want a pig just so I can name it bacon...DH says thats not a good enough reason to buy a pig he knows I will never eat!LOL

I had a cat named Fido....3 legged cat named Tripod...

None as good as GLIDDEN! LOL

Catching up again. Work on the farm is getting in the way of my social life with my chickeneering friends!

Anywho, in case it hasn't been said.....email private breeders. I would expect the guy that was showing in Clemson, that Jackie got her trio from that Lauren now has, will be there. But yeah, a show in March is cool, too.
There is a close one on March 3rd, too! I may go up to that one.
