finally some one that is near me! I live in Lancaster and work in Columbia and our Company Office is in Camden.

I can't wait for the show! Although I've been sick the past couple days..which is NOT the usual for me. I never get sick. I tried to go to work today and they sent me home.

They said no offense but we don't want your germs lol...I don't know how to admit defeat to sickness. Anyways everybody say a prayer I'm better by Saturday bc I MUST GO TO THE SHOW. I want to see all the birds and look foward to meeting more BYC folks!

Thanks Amy, I know that I have at least one Fav roo out in the brooder now. Probably around 15 weeks old. I have some smaller ones growing up that I'm watching but still haven't learned the "trick" for telling gender of these too early yet. I'm sure there will be more, considering my past rooster luck.

Bring your germs...I teach elementary kids...I CAN HANDLE THE GERMS!!

For example...a couple weeks ago one of my special kids saw me signing in(to teach diff class) and ran in the office,gave me a big hug and kiss...then apologized because I was gonna get sick because he was puking in the sink all night!! I have been sick with a cough but its allergies...not germs...I never get sick from germs!!

I have to add that the same little boy(special needs) was coloring one day when I was there and it was a pic of the chicken life cycle. He was coloring his eggs blue(hehe) and the special needs coordinator was there to see how class was doing. She told my joshy that eggs are not blue to which he informed her that yes they were and Mrs.Sam had some chickens that laid them and let him hold one!! I just nodded yes at her...I was and still am so proud of that little boy...he is so smart,just not in a normal way!!

here is a pic of my special class showing off thier belts we made that they painted bottle caps and we put them on old seat belts...Some of their poses were so funny!
