Ah but we do get a check...it just has thier name on it!! LOL I am a country gal who married a city boy...I hate to admit but I prob am spoiled...I dont have to work unless I want too and he is really doing good with my farm project!! Of course we make sacrifices so I dont have to work full time...But I love my job with the school and it gives me flexibility!! And he is spoiled also...he doesnt even know how to fix his coffee with the right amount of sugar and creamer...I always fix his plate and I try and do all the house/yard/farm work I can.I even build coops but he likes doing that!! He has never had to mow grass or other things like that!! So we share the spoiling!!
ME: Honey after I get spring cleaning done, I am going to hire a cleaning service to come in once a week.
DH: Is it going to come out of your check?
ME: Probably will.
DH: Kim, you don't get a check.
ME: But you do, and I get an allowance.
DH: No you don't...you just GIVE yourself an allowance.
ME: Whatever, stop nitpicking.

I guess I thought being married to a country boy, I would be more spoiled.

I am so NOT fixing his plate. I do Pop's when we have family dinners. DH has done it once, and Pop did not like the way DH did it. ROFL. DH put too much on the plate!

I was raised in the country but no pets nor farm animals etc - my dad grew up on a farm and did not want to continue that - so I did not even learn the meaning of work until I was 16 - I got picked on at my first job (McDs) because I had NO clue how to use a mop. I liked everyone I worked with and they really got a kick out of calling me spoiled. I had the nickname Sweets because of me being spoiled. LOL! I grew up with wall to wall carpeting - and tile bathroom floors (yes in the 70s-80s!). At one time my grandmother had a house with linoleum in the kitchen and baths but I never mopped them.

I don't cut grass. I giggle too much on the lawnmower - and I am allergic to the grass.

I am spoiled - some, but I was this way when DH found me, so he says

The mop part is too funny!! Me..I hate to dust...and fold clothes...I will clean floors and wash all day...dishes better watch out but dusting...maybe before the holidays!! It is funny but I worked at McD's for a short time in highschool too!!

Gosh, I've been cutting grass since I was 10 years old (and cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, stacking wood etc.). I've had a "real" job since I was 15 but I worked on my lunch break in school at 13 years old. I like the sound of that being spoiled thing. How do I get that?
